I just traded my cummins for a TRD manual transmition edition. I love the FJ (I do wish it came in a diesel), but the beaper is driving me nuts. I disconnected the seat belt beaper and that helped. Does anyone know how to disconnect the beaper completely?

What beaper? The only one that I was aware of is the seat belt.....maybe the "key in the ignition" one?

The one when you open the door with the key in and when you put it in reverse and when you have weight on the passengers seat. It also beaps when you slip in the mud or the snow and the Hl isn't in. It seems like everytime I am in, it has all kinds of beaps. I feel like the consumer has enough common sense to know what they are doing (why else would you buy a vehicle designed for off road use), why does it have to beap to tell us? If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
