I managed to get some rocks and mud stuck in the bead of my tire while very far out in the boonies on a trail ride. Thankfully I had a board to drive up on and break the bead, but if I had left that board at home I would probably have been screwed. While I was poking around wasting time online this afternoon I happened to spot something that is simple and yet brilliant. I wish I could take credit for the idea, but I cannot.

That is much more elegant than driving over it.

Tire under slider and HiLift on tire pushing down on tire.

Tire under the hitch receiver and the hi lift jack tongue inside the hitch receiver while the hi lift base pushes down on the bead. Same concept as the OP but using a Hi lift jack.
