I just installed the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS on my 2013 LC on stock wheels. Had the chance of testing them out on the beach today.
Must say I was quite impressed with the added traction over the stock tires (Michelin Latitude). I was able to pull out many vehicles bogged down in heavy sand. They have not added any road noise and are a steal at $174 a pc at discount tire.
I did get stuck trying to pull out a Honda Pilot ( my fault, should have used the snatch strap to get momentum, I used a tow strap and ended up digging myself in sand......still learning!)
My rear hitch mounted, Warn 9.5cti and the Pull pal came to my rescue. And contrary to what I had read, getting the pull pal out of the ground was a snap, maybe because it was sand!
Just sharing,
Mir
