Friends, last year I failed at Christmas party planning so as promised am going to get the ball rolling a lot sooner so here it goes...

I would like to offer my place as a venue. I have a fire pit, bbq, smoker, pizza oven, burner, and lots of parking all of which should lend itself to hosting the group. So that I don't broadcast my address to the world, please PM me if you need it and I will give it to you. I have a yard with playset and trampoline so the kids are welcome (I have 4 of them myself...) and will have somethings to do to burn off energy. I have a pool though it's not very warm this time of year unless we get some extra warm days in advance. If we get a lot of kids and/or interest I can heat it. The hot tub, however, is easy to heat so don't hesitate to bring a suit for your kids and/or yourselves.

Food: Reflecting on past events, catering is pricey and we end up with way too much food. However, I think we'd like to the club to cover some of the costs. So, I propose we have the club cover some main items, maybe smoke some meat, make your own pizza in the pizza oven, burgers / dogs, beverages, and we can potluck the gaps like deserts? I am open to ideas so post up below if you have some input. Does anyone have firewood? If not, we can stock up.

Let's do the white elephant gift exchange. It's always fun! Let's limit the gift cost to $20 if at all possible.

Attire: If you have an ugly sweater, bring it on! Or, if you have something cruiser related, equally good. Or, just wear whatever you want.

Cigars have been known to happen later in the evening.

Finally, December is when we elect new officers for 2025. I'd like to announce them at the party if everyone is Ok with that. That, however, means we need to do the voting prior. I will put up a post to cover that.

Please post up if you can make it and how many adults / kids will be in your party.

Attendees
- Phulcrum (?)
- Hamilt0n (2)
- Landcruising (2)
- Butch F (2)
- Bude _Dude (2)
- Samule + 1
- Crusherboy + 1
-GXHowie +1

Thanks!!!

Frank

It's on my schedule to make it this year.

Excellent. I will update the list as we go. Let me know the number in your party if more than you.

Well folks, with the conclusion of the Camp and Shoot, this is that last event on the books for the year. That's not to say one more couldn't pop up but this is what we have thus far. Anyone else?

Frank

Please PM me for my address.

The club will supply a nice big smoked pork shoulder and makings for pizzas in the pizza oven. Can members bring a side or desert as well as beverage contribution?

Thanks!

Frank
