I am selling my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser in Imperial Jade Mica that currently has approximately 177,000 miles. It is a poverty pack 100 series and is equipped with factory cloth seats, no sunroof, no third row seats, and no an OEM rear differential locker. It also has solid rear cargo area windows (no tilt outs).

I purchased it in February 2019 from a gentleman in Nashville, TN that had owned it since 2004 when he purchased it from the original owner in Houston, TX.

Upgraded rear suspension (Front OEM and rear Tough Dog 41mm shocks, Old Man Emu 2866 springs)
Rock sliders with kickout
Rear drawer (Land Shark Outfitters)
Fridge drawer or fridge with slide (can be configured to your taste or removed altogether)

Air compressor (ARB)
12,000 pound winch (Smittybilt X20) and wireless controller
Rear tire carrier (Kaymar)
OEM rear diff locker
Load bars on roof (Eezi-Awn)
Escape Gear seat covers
Professionally re-leathered steering wheel

Original listing photos are located here: Link to Photos

The truck isn't perfect but I think it's pretty good. Maintenance/baselining work was performed at a local Land Cruiser specialty shop, State Automotive. I've handled the little things (D-light bulb, sway bar bushings, air filters, cleaning, etc.)

The good and history:
  • TX and TN for 19 years
  • Most everything underneath in the photos that's red is Southern Utah sand and not corrosion
  • All original VIN (JT3HT05J9X0026798) stickers throughout
  • VIN etching on all windows except passenger front (vandalism)
  • Service records or history from 26k miles showing routine oil changes and other appropriate maintenance
  • Notable prior service:
    • Starter at 69,000 (8/25/2005)
    • Timing belt, ignition coils, spark plugs at 90,174 (9/21/2007)
    • Radiator, steering rack, and charcoal canister replaced at 155,259 (7/7/2018)
  • Service/modifications under my ownership:
    • 12/32"+ BFG KO2 285/75r16 installed at 161,925 (4/5/2019) (4 used, 1 new)
    • All fluids (coolant, diffs, transfer case, power steering, brake) replaced at 161,947 (4/25/2019
    • Wheel bearings replaced and repacked at 161,947 (4/25/2019)
    • CV axles replaced at 161,947 (4/25/2019)
    • Alignment at at 161,947 (4/25/2019)
    • 12/32"+ BFG KO2 285/75r16 installed at 161,925 (4/5/2019)
    • ARB 37" roller drawer/roller floor installed at 163,690 (5/30/2019)
    • Slee second battery tray, Optima Yellow, ARB compressor, and Redarc BCDC1225D, ARB fridge at 163,839 (7/13/2019)
    • New AC Compressor, drier, fan clutch, and alternator at 164,417 (9/9/2019)
    • Valve cover gaskets replaced with PCV, new bolts, etc. and several new hoses at 165,287 (1/18/2020)
    • Fuel filter replaced at 165287 (1/18/2020)
    • Muffler replaced with OEM-style Magnaflow at 166,680 (3/6/2020)
    • Replaced driver door lock actuator motor at 166,841 (3/25/2020)
    • Custom weld-on sliders installed at 166,858 (4/9/2020)
    • Timing belt and water pump at 168,448 (8/21/20)
    • Oil analysis: Blackstone Oil Report Repository - Share Your 2UZ Reports - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/blackstone-oil-report-repository-share-your-2uz-reports.1232643/

The bad:
  • There is an area to the rear of the rear passenger door that was damaged and repaired by the original owner. The second owner was unaware. It was repaired back then but it appears that the steel to filler bond has failed. There's a video linked in the photo library below showing the damage and the extent of the filler. I've since repaired some of it. I have a dog-leg cutout from another '99 that can be used for a repair.
  • Paintless dent repair evidence from "accident" on Carfax. Previous owner said it impacted the driver side, mostly under the side belt plastic trim. You can see some areas where it didn't get back 100%, but there is no evidence of door skin replacement and all VIN tags are present.
  • Front bumper rubs on passenger side fender where some bump was sustained (pushing the bumper into the fender and not pushing the fender down) No longer rubbing but the paint is a little weird here
  • Little ding below the passenger side tail light on the body

How tall are you? Might consider 60 series or FJ Cruiser. They have a lot of headroom. :)

Oh man, I need to catch a flight out to Utah. Really like the cloth seats an no sunroof.

Any idea what would need to be done to fix the area on the rear passenger door?

Where are you coming from? NC?

One of two ways I'd think: just remove the little bit of repair that was done and redo it or cut out the sheet metal that's dented and replace with the donor piece I have.

Factory Cloth!?!? Anyone sell those aftermarket?

Free bump for cloth seats.

I also see a for-sale sign on the built 100 in the backgound. i'd lock up my brakes if i passed a house with two 100's for sale.

It's a fire sale! The built 100 was purchased three days before a layoff/relo notice from work with the intent of pulling the aftermarket parts. It was sold as a precautionary step to a local family.

The green one is the discretionary toy that needs to go after lining up a new job with much less pay. I'm open to offers if my price isn't reasonable.

Christmas Eve bump. Since the last bump:

Installed OME 2865 springs in rear, adjusted the torsion bars, and installed OEM shocks.

The second battery is now connected through a Redarc DC charger and is connected to the ARB compressor and hardwired to an ARB fridge in the rear.
