Standard batteries are not 'maintenance free' in Arizona, no matter what the label says. You can make them last a lot longer by topping up the cells with water routinely.

Amen to that. I have a 2004 Dodge diesel with original batteries (two) still going strong. .......now that I said that they will probably fail this week......:grinpimp:
 
Out of sheer courtesy, someone ought to mention to Ross that his 3 years/battery are almost over, and that his thread has been revived as a preemptive measure... :)

Yes I do.

My Orbital Exide is still going strong. It got me through the Rez after my alternator failed with 100 miles to go before Durango.

Started up fine after a month of sitting neglected.
