LOL, big talk from a team that hasn't been to "the dance" in 100 years or some similar embarrassing statistic...

Your upper class leadership should have gotten you there last year but...I know, you don't want to remember the dagger in W-S. :oops:

Upper class leadership? We only had 1 senior and 2 juniors on the team. Thats not much upper class leadership. We were in the dance like 8 or 9 years ago, first yr after Rick Barnes left we made the dance. It hasnt been that long since we were top 5 in the country and stomping WF regularly kinda like how we beat you this yr.

That kid / heckler at the FSU game - yes the game you just LOST (to the worst team in the ACC) had it right. Tough time of the year for Ollie and his boyz...

That must be some Wake Forest math. How is a team that was 3-8 worse than a team that was 2-9? UVA is the worst team in the league. But I'm glad you were paying attention the day that they taught 2 was more than 3.

Your confidence in your tournament prediction is entertaining too. You're not in the tourney yet and we're not out. You guys could very easily lose your last 4 games (esp. since you guys wrote the book on late season choke jobs), nothing is a given - even you should know that.

Agreed. No doubt UNC will be heavily favored and rightly so, especially at home.

If Lawson doesn't play it will obviously help us a bit but like him or not, Psycho T is a beast and we'll need to figure out how to limit his production and trips to the charity stripe.

Good game Travis, Marshall, Heel nation, etc. Congrats on the W and pulling ahead of Duke in the conference race.

While I am glad to see our young team grow and mature this year, the difference in the two teams was night and day.

UNC's depth, athleticism and talent was too much for our guys. Plus, the crowd at the DD seems more energized than in the past and home court advantage definitely comes into play.

When we pulled it back to 6 right before half it was big because it could have easily been 12 or more. But...Ellington's 3 at the buzzer was a dagger that kind of set the tone for the 2nd half.

Still lots of important hoops to play with the 4 remaining conf. games and then the ACC tourney.

If you would have told me Wake would be in a position to finish .500 or above in league play and within reach of a 3rd place conference finish with 4 ACC games to go before the season started, I would have been pleased considering our youth, inexperience and off-season turmoil.

We have nothing but upside since our starters are freshman / sophomores and next year's incoming class is ranked #1...but for now, this season, the time is yours.

Hey Nate Where you at? Long run you guys had at #1. Bunch of overrated hacks. You looked like crap beating an overrated Memphis team that game was hard to watch the play was so bad.
 
Well I heard from a little birdy that Nate is getting a Land Rover, so not only is he not standing up for his overrated team but he's also apparantly a :princess: Meanwhile the Tiger train rolled along tonight big conference W for the Tigers gets us no worse than .500 in the league.
 
Yea, been watching him all year. Right now I am watchin' them take a beating from L'ville.....

Going up to Tampa next week to watch them play USF.
 
Well, ND went on to lose, but he had 40 points and 12 rebounds. Hit his first 3-pointers of his career tonight, 3 in a row.

Wish the rest of his team showed up.....
 
Holy crap that comeback was intense. Tigers sealed it tonight Big Dance, ACC tourney first round bye. Its a good night for tigers bball.
