This is a scenic fun trail that runs from hwy 4 above markleeville. Driving through the Sierra valleys and aspen groves, we end up at a beautiful camp spot next to the Carson river. Up the trail beyond the camp, there are some hot spring too. This is an out and back run.

Leave Time: 9:00am

Meeting Location: Woodfords ca.

Trail Difficulty: Mostly 1-2

Additional Equipment needed:
Over night run, so be prepared w/ food, camp gear, tools etc. This is also a great opportunity for fishing the river, so bring your gear and current California fishing license.

Duration of Run: Sat-Sun.

Tread Lightly / 146.460

Sounds like a great run I guess I better get to work and get this thing finished up.
That is a great area we have a cabin over the hill in Dorrington that we try and make it to a couple times a year. The biking up there is awesome too for those of you who mountain bike.

It's a no-go for me. Have fun!!!

Jack

Anyone on board for this?!

I have a work responsibility this weekend or I would be up for that trip my 40 wont be ready but I was thinking the rover would probably make it

Sounds like this is a BUST so I'm making some other plans.

I will be going to the Nevada game. We should officially call this off if no one is going to go that can trail lead. The last run a few showed but didn't run the trail cause neither had been on the trail before.

Yeah no go for me as I would love to do it but got other obligations.

Tahoe - what type of Mtbing do you do. Keith got a new bike last year but I have yet to see him ride it (or hear of any rides). We have a few guys that do so maybe before the weather gets to bad we should do something!! Anyone up for a Meadows to Marlette or Emigrant run the second week of Nov?!

The best laid plans...

A wrench got thrown into the works of my plans, so I'm out too.

One of these days we should do a club run! :bang:

Lol... Just did that as a shuttle run a couple weeks ago!!
I've averaged 1-3 days a week on the bike this summer. Haven't gone ONCE since that ride, though.

My thoughts exactly!!
We're pretty much OUT of time at this point for any camp runs and we were on BORROWED time for what would have been this weekend.

I blew all my man points on deer hunting. The good news is Bambi is spending the winter in my freezer.

Maybe we could do a day trip soon?

I have only been on my bike twice this year!! Sad but true I live in Arrowcreek so I have done Whites Creek a couple times but its on the list of things i don't seem to be able to make time for! I would like to get out more often and spend less time on the stairstepper:bang:. Let me know if you guys get something together and I will make time!
