Bamboo fun tablet with pen

i'm always doodling little plans and stuff for the cruiser or for around the home with a paper and pen.
but i need a device that will do this on a computer. something like this maybe.

what do you guys use and recommend?

what kind of software can you use with them?

pretty much anythign really. it works like a mouse. I have used one for graphics and tried it for CAD but with all the keyboard entries I needed to make it wasn't very good. if you do photshop type stuff they work awesome.
