I have 4 16' Land Cruiser wheels for sale. I recently had the wheels professionally powder coated at RCHotcoats Powder coating in Hunt Valley Maryland. The workmanship was pristine, but I ended up not taking a shine (no pun intended) to the blueish hue of the wheels, which were powder coated with SPEEDWAY GREY.
I roughed up the clear coat on the face of the wheels with 60 grit and sprayed them with the color you see pictured, which is a Duplicolor paint specifically made for wheels. Sorry, in the pics one of the wheels is dirty, that'll clean up. I only used the wheels for maybe 3k miles after the powder coating job, so they are fresh.
Anyway, I was then happy, but blew out a tire, so instead of replacing a tire for the cost of new, I found an amazaing deal on a set of 18's with BFG KO2's and I'm probably never going back to the 16's, as the 18's with the BFG's are more wheel and tire then I'm ever going to need.
I'm very willing to negotiate. I like trades, what do you have? I like vintage baseball cards, quality fishing reels, 18 inch LC100 wheels in good condition, vintage chainsaws in working order, ammo, fishing gear, and as always, cash is king. I don't expect to recoup my money for what I spent on the powder coating, so my loss your gain. reasonable offers or trade considered. hit me up, I usually check in here once a day. I also have a spare 16', not painted, with an old BFG tire on it I'll probably let go in the deal if you want it. Thanks for reading. Oh, only 3 good center caps to go with the wheels, but I'll throw in what's left of the paint, enough to paint a center cap pretty easy when you get one.
