Hehehe ... :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

nice sir! I don't envy the truck, it's just the fact that you can do all those mods.

Congrats on both projects, lil' Pete and the Baltimore Bounty.

Looks good bud.

Cam

are you coming to Hot Springs Sir?

I am asking because I want to make sure I bring my jerry can with gas again! he! he!

So far so good.

I'm sittin' buck nekkid in my sleeper eatin' cookies and drinkin' beer at a rest area 35 miles south of Bristol, TN. :grinpimp:

For the most part, the trailer follows the truck. Ev'ry once in awhile though she tries to pass the truck. I am DAMNED glad I didn't try this stunt with the Trusty Ol' Comp'ny Truck. Woulda been ugly.

The load is riding well. As you can see in the pictures, we put a buttload of straps to hold the s*** down. After a hun'erd miles or so, I noticed the anchor was trying to shift backwards though on the trailer so I added one more strap to hold it forward. :meh:

I'm prob'ly half way home right here. But got a pitstop at Casa Clutchee tomorrow. Reckon I'm only 250 miles or so from there so a nice short day.

:flamingo:

I'm sure Clutchee is gonna love the whole "sittin' buck nekked" deal if you try it at his house! You just aint right!

Later,

Just et a world-class supper of meatloaf, mashed taters, and green beans that Ashley cooked up. Glad y'all weren't here. :grinpimp:

Tach went out on Lil' Pete today.

Glad I'm used to the truck enuff where I can still drive it without one. :meh:

:flamingo:

So was the tach new?

I want a full report of the comments you get on the CB as you tool Lil Pete down the highway with that ship's anchor on the trailer.

One of the many fantastic thangs about a roadtrip is the crazy thangs ya mite see on the way.

One thang that'll never be seen again is a hemi-green Peterbilt pick-up towin' a refurbished 60-year old bulldozer trailer with a hun'erd-and-fifty-year old anchor strapped down on it ... 'cause I'm home now.

It certainly did draw some attention on the way though. :grinpimp:

So was the tach new?

One of the few thangs that didn't get worked on ... was workin' fine.

Today I gotta drop the bulldozer trailer and hook the gooseneck ... so I can doubleback to Hot Springs tomorrow. :steer:

:flamingo:

Kubota wasn't worth haulin' ... that's why I bought the Kawasaki Thangy a year ago.

Fella gave the boat away to his nephew ...

Generator's still in Baltimore.

:flamingo:

Hopin' to buy the Trusty Ol' Comp'ny Truck when I get a new comp'ny truck and I'll chunk the generator in the bed when I drive it home.

:flamingo:

Here's a pic of the final turn into the 3X's ...

And the answer to the BIG question ...

How are you going to unload it?

... is provided by the neighbor's big-ass John Deere.

Once we got all three pieces located in the corner of the field ... some assembly required.

The hardest part of the entire process was convincin' the damn neighbor he had to get out of the air-conditioned cab and help me install the shank into the anchor.

Nice job on the yard art:D

"Mr. Kowboy... where did that anchor come from?"

"Well son, that anchor dropped right where you see it from a small twister that blew through here in 2009. I don't know if that anchor got picked up off some shipwreck or not."

;-)
