I just bought a '94 cruiser and can not figure out how to change the front marker light. Do you have to take the headlight assembly out to reach it? I have had Toyota's all my like and finally got my dream Toyota...........have a car, truck that I bought new in '98 w/ TRD package and 336,000 miles and just sold to my brother. God I llove these things

80 Series forum may serve you better. But, hang out here for a while as these guys are pretty good. Welcome to mud.

Officially :flipoff2:

The removal of the 80 series corner lamp is the same as the 100 series... remove the top screw and then gently pull the lamp assembly straight forward (towards the front of the vehicle). Get your fingernails in there. There is like a tension snap that holds the bottom in place.

:flipoff2: Welcome

The top screw actually screws into the outside edge of the top surface of the headlight assembly. The tension snap mentioned earlier is towards the bottom of the marker light, and pressure applied on the back of the assembly toward the bottom will work well for this reason.

Apply pressure pulling the assembly forward (toward the front of the truck) steadily, but gently enough to not break the plastic. If the vehicle is left in the sun to get warm it helps loosen the plastic tension snap recepticle.

Welcome....how about some pics?

Man you guys are awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a club. I can tell this Cruiser is going to ma a lot of un. Thanks again. Will get some pics done and send out soon.

If that doesn't work or you have some minor body damage (bent corner) it can be a PITA.

The secret way is to pull the rubber plug from the front inside of the wheel well and use a 24" dowel to nudge it from behind. Be sure to have someone catching the light if/when you do this. It usually isn't needed.

AFTER removing the screws and trying as above of course. YMMV.
