The only one I can think of right now that I'd like would be a relatively flat one to hold my cast iron griddle. I like to keep it pretty well greased, but hate that it gets other stuff in my "kitchen" aluminum box greasy. Other than that I use canvas mechanics bags for recovery straps, shackles, blocks etc.
I would REALLY be interested in square bags that could hold my butane stove (10"x14"2"tall) and one for my trail iron pans (16"x16"x4"tall). Sick of them things ratteling in my drawers!
I'm in for a bag or two! I have a bag I got from a Toyota Trails event years ago and use that for my overland and garage tool bag. I would be interested in the small bag for use as a spare tire change kit in my new to me FJ40. Could you check if the Toyota worm gear jack would fit inside? This would be nice to put all together in a single kit and put under a seat. I too like the ability to over stuff and squish the bags into small less used spaces in the rig. Looking forward to seeing them. Anyway to make a simple "wide mouth" zipper opening in a small bag that could hold an assortment of loose sockets? This would then go inside any of the bags. I currently use zip lock bags and small boxes, as I don't like searching for sockets mixed with other items. Great idea....
I've been shopping for bags to hold "overnight" items for long road trips. 50 Cal ammo cans fit very nicely, but tend to rattle more than what is acceptable and aren't really large enough for a change of clothes, etc. (my road trips tend to be heavily estrogenated). I'd love to see a rectangular bag with a slim outer profile and something like 7x17x?? dimensions. I've seen several "parachute cargo" bags listed online that look similar to what I'm picturing, but I haven't seen anything with the right dimensions yet. Something like this bag that was 17 long by 7 wide and maybe 15 or 17 tall would be ideal. Lay them on their side with the handles facing the rear of the vehicle. Anybody else see utility from something like this? Anybody seen it available already?
Wouldn't mind having a bag for tent poles if there's more interest in making a few.
My set up is an RV2 OzTent so all the poles are a bit longer. Great looking line of products.
@cruzerDave Did you ever get the bigger bags complete? I have been checking your website but have not seen anything. I just want to make sure that I don’t miss anything!
For anyone looking for one-off bags for a stove, or cookwear, or to fit under a seat, or ___, my wife has had so much fun making bags for her stuff that she is willing to do the same for you.
Bespoke Bags
Pricing really depends on complexity, but in general she is looking to Keep It Simple, and to keep it worth her time (she's also a mom and a nurse) we're looking for a minimum overall order of $50. Email landsharkoutfitters@gmail.com with your needs and dimensions.
