A great trip at the Badlands ORV with the Chicago Land Rover Club. Jim Klubens and Clint came up from Indy and led us on the trail. Couple of first time Rover drivers and Jim/Clint did an excellent job in making everyone feel comfortable.

Here's a group shot but more pics are located at the following inks:

Great pics Ali!!

Did Jimmy ride up with his newly refreshed tranny? How did he do? (I assume the white 80 is his).

Hope to get out that way again sometime soon...just too much work right now.

Cheers.

Onur,
Yeah, that's me. I wheeled the 80 with a freshly rebuild tranny. I had to test it out, right.:bounce: Well, actaully that day did the trick. I continued to experience a short delay in the valve body. Each time I shifted into R or D I had to press the throttle for the gear to engage. Well, after climbing all over the rocks the air bubble finally dislodged and now the truck back to 100%.

BTW, I did take some body damage, very little though. I pushed it back out.

As for that day, we took some rovers out that never wheeled before. I must say, I get a kick out of seeing the reacts on the faces of new wheelers that have never done this before. It's thrilling.

They want to come out again in Feb.
