back up camera lense

Does anyone know where you can get the convex outer lense on the backup camera? mine got cracked and the dealer only sells the entire camera for $700

Maybe buy a $10 digital camera and take it apart for the plastic lens. Glue it onto your camera?

I find it pretty critical for keeping my kids safe and backing up on trails. Otherwise impossible to see what is right behind the truck...
