After all the noise and racket and sticking brakes on the rear end of my 60 I have it back together. Locker? FINE. Brakes? Fixed for now. Rear wheel bearing? Ahhh, that was the culprit. It was a mess, but didnt run dry. I dont know what happened to it. So I replaced it with another Koyo, new seal, put everything back together and took it for a test drive.
No clunking or noise from the locker, but I sure can feel that thing back there. It runs so much better with the 4.56s, the 60 sounds like my old FJ40 now.
So MAYBE this weekend I will get a shake down run out of it.....
I can say one thing though, I like the design of the Lockright and other similar lockers when it comes to taking it apart and putting it back together. EASY!
