Sold my old 99 LC couple years back to my friend and miss it ever since.
Been itching to find another and found this beauty off craigslist for $7k.
One owner 1999 LX470 with 224k miles and over 16 pages of service from local Lexus dealer since new.
Love the golden pearl color and its in great shape inside and out.
Only few issues when I got it about a month ago with cd stuck in Nak, passenger headlight has chip and small hole, tires need to be replaced, and later found oil drip and it was rack and pinion. Fixed all the issues except for the headlight, still looking for a replacement.
When I first got it over a month ago.
Old tires were almost bald and found these '15 Tundra wheels with only 5k miles on them for dirt cheap off CL for only $150. Looks so much better with these now.
Got tired of not being able to listen to any cd's, so I pulled stock unit and replaced it with an old Eclipse dvd double din unit I had laying around in my garage. Couldn't find any wiring harness so I found wiring diagram and cut and splice some wires and works great but still getting some background noise in speakers.
I'm so surprised at how great the seats look on a rig with 224k miles.
Over the weekend, I changed out all the fluids in the diff and transfer case with new Royal Purple Max gear 75w90. Also changed the engine oil with M1. Next up the the tranny, but just gotta figure out which line to connect to flush oil fluid out.
