Unfortunately I'm at a stage in my life where I have to sell my old 'B' diesel and running gear. I haven't found a buyer for the whole thing so I have pulled it into pieces.
The cylinder head has the tiniest of cracks, and is valued at up to $1000 by a very knowledgeable forum member. This is priced for quick sale at $500 - in addition I am offering a shipping credit of $50 to make freight more affordable for the next owner.
I recently did the head gasket and the wear on the head is not indicative of a 300k engine which was in the truck, thus we reasonably concluded that someone has replaced the head.
If you can think of any other parts that you require of a 1980 'B' Diesel, I will have them available for a short time. (no glow plugs, injectors, nor starter)
