Axle swap project help in San Antonio

Hey guys, been lurking on site for sometime, but never posted...

Simply put, I had my locked '97 fzj80 wrecked over a year ago and want to swap out its front & rear axles (including wiring harnesses) into another, unlocked '97 80 I own--making the current 80 e-locked capable. In exchange for the labor & transportation, I'm willing to sign over the wrecked 80's title (including body, engine, interior, etc); which could be parted out for prob $1500-2200.

Trying to recapture my nirvana experienced with the original rig I owned since '99. Let me know if there any wrench-turners who might wanna do this. Thanks for the help!

I can help you. I am off this weekend and every other weekend. I have actually done this swap on my 80 too. I ended up buying 12Volt guy's wiring harness and wired them up that way. I didn't want to deal with pulling the wiring to make it work like factory. Swapping the axles is pretty straight forward, unbolt, swap, and bolt up. . text or call me at 720-391-7564 if you have any questions or whatever.

Kinda late to this but I can help if needed as well. Ive got the tools and space to do it. But I work opposite of Angelo now.
