I'm shopping for a rear, and I'm a little apprehensive to pull the trigger. I've been burned before where I thought it would be worth saving a couple bucks, and ended up suffering through poor quality products. At an $800 advantage (figuring jerry can and tire carriers), that's a huge savings, so I have to wonder - Where is the cost cutting? Is there really that much mark up on these products? Thinner materials? Cut corners on finishing?
Has anyone actually seen or owned an Axis Off Road bumper? How is the quality compared to the "big" names, like TJM, ARB, or Slee?
I know that Axis lurks the board occasionally, so keep your feedback constructive and civil.
