I worked in a hobby shop when I was 15 and used to build those for customers who didn't have the time to build their own. Very cool, stout and expensive even back then ('83-'84). I bet they're worth a fortune now

I ve got 3 of them, the hilux, the bruiser, and the mountaineer. Very detailed, from ring and pinions to front limited slip (rear is locked) leaf springs, 3 speed transmission, full frame etc they are way to close to the real thing

The closest you might be able to get is the Tamiya bruiser with the FJ40 body.

Basically it's the Mountaineer/Bruiser/HiLux updated chassis/running gear with an F350 body on it. Chances are, you could find an old HiLux/Bruiser body for it if you REALLY hated Fords.
