I am trying to find a set of auxilary lights for my Dad's 03 4Runner. I currently
have a set of PIAA 520s on my tacoma and a set of PIAA 580s on my 60. I love the 520s but notice that they come with a 1" bolt and nut and thus need
a simple bumper(the 60's)or a bullbar like my ARB on the Tacoma. My Dad
doesn't want to add anything up front(light bar, ect). He wants a light that can
easily mount on his stock bumper. Any thoughts??

I don't know how permenant of a mount you are thinking of, I have used liquid nails to attach/mount aux reverse lights onto the glass of my camper shell and they have held for years.

I'll try to get a picture posted if you're interested.

Just my .02 on how to attach w/o drilling

I appreciate it. I did go to PIAA's website and looked at a few other options. They do have some smaller driving lights that appear to have a flat mounting bracket that might work. I'm just not too
keen about drilling a 3/4 hole through that plastic and somehow getting my hands in there to threat that nut not knowing if it is sturdy enough. I spent all of 2 minutes putting my 580's on the original
chrome bumper of my 60!

I know this is an old thread. But do you have pics? I need better reverse lights so I figure I would mount something for the rear.

Here are 2 pictures on my Liquid nails attachment to glass.

Also, having the lights here is great for hooking up the trailer, camping, and the tailgater or other dope driving up behind you with their brights on!

I wired it, with the help from my neighbor, so that the lights can be turned on from the cab or from the bed.
