auto tranny break in question

so i got my automatic transmission rebuilt and its been 500 miles. should i change the atf earlier than usual? im about to make the 2600 mile trip back home and i dont want to damage the tranny that cost me a small fortune to rebuild

Call the shop that rebuilt it.

Change it at arround 500 then 1500. Add a tranny cooler if you already havn't done it.

after the first 500 and you should be fine. Then every interval per the FSM.
