Hi there all

For the Australian Forum Members - just seen a a couple of dual cab 75 series for sale in the recent 4x4 traders Mag (page51).

Its a Goanna Pak Conversion - do they still make these for the mining industry and what are they like (believed they were desigined and made in WA?). From memory they were a fibre glass rear cab which was attached to a 75 series tray top.

I am interested in a one - do we have any forum members in WA whom may be able to assist me in get some pictures - I suspect they may have originated from the mining industry (little hesidant)

I have writen them a e-mail requestion information.

There web site is : carpoint.com.au/allterrainautobrokers

Many thanks

Wayne

The Goanna pack was a extended cab not a dually. They were sold through dealers to counter the extended cab offered in a patrol.
They were aimed at tradesman who wanted some extra space behind the seat for drawings and tools ect
Not sure which company made the kits but TL Engineering is a good place to start but there were others.
I think the DIY kit is about $5k and still available

Iknow some duallies are sold as a Goanna pack but I think the used yards are confusing them with an extended cab.
All Terrain Brokers sell nothing but crap. They buy cruisers from the mining industry for $5k and resell it for $12k and dont even clean the thick mud off.
An example of what I believe is a goanna pack

Hi there

The duel cabs they are advertising have four doors - I have seen these conversions before they are simular roofs to the MWB being of fibre glass. The company has replied and they are sending pictures.

Will post them when they arrive - They are asking 18k for a 1996 dual cab 75 series.
