The Good Bits
Engine runs great. Runs cool (barely warms up) and just ticks away. Very reliable and economical compared to my Patrol. 12-13L/100Kms in the city. I have been using this car as my daily driver for the last 3 years. (45km/day)
New glows
New Master and Slave clutch cylinders
Interior is neat
Kenwood MP3 CD Player
Central Locking (drivers door has the switch)
Aircond works
Power Steer works
All gears work and don't whine
33 inch Coopers tyres with about 30% life in them
Extractors
2.5inch Exhaust
Extended shackles front and rear
Large full length roof rack (some rust on it, but has many years life left in it)
Tough ARB/TJM rear bar/tow bar
New front indicators
The Bad Bits
The body has rust everywhere, roof sills, wheel arches, door frames, A pillar, rear quarters and bonnet, this is not a car you buy for the body
Front left corner quarter panel is damaged and so is the bumper bar and light surround
Gear box has a slight hesitation into 3rd, but show me a 60 that doesn't - Has been like this since I owned it and you get used to it.
Rear diff has a leaky seal on the right
Rear main on engine drips couple of times a week on the driveway. Again, this is a feature from factory.
If you are buying this car it is because you want the running gear and some of the other bits other than the body.
It is still registered and I will deliver it up to 100Km's from my house in Brisbane (negotiable) for a case of Tooheys New (yer yer, who drinks that stuff!)
Engine and Gearbox is worth $1500 not to mention all the other bits and bobs(air, steer, diffs etc) - Would rather just drive it somewhere then get dirty.
