that would be labor day weekend, you guys cant do that! It is the opening weekend for dove hunting season!
Not to mention every one and their momma is going to already have something planned for that weekend.
I should be able to do the August trip, that is unless it is planned to be on the last weekend, which would be labor day weekend and like addicted56 mentioned everyone has plans for that weekend.

Well unless we can get an impromptu meeting together for some beers in the Raleigh area next weekend, I'll miss August's meeting. I'll be back in Denmark until Labor Day weekend.

Yeah, just keep in touch and we'll all try and ride down together.
I don't want to hijack the thread so maybe we can get a September Meeting going as well.
I don't want to overburden our freindly VA host but maybe a ride back up at his place would be nice...OR would that be something better for a couple more months out. I'm not familiar with seasons around here but would also like to head out and check out some of the fall colors for one of the rides.
As far as August goes any weekend is good for me.

Likely mid-to-late October will be peak colors. Being in or near the Shenandoah Valley that time of year is awesome............ Of course, we also have Cullowhee in western NC.
A difinitive date yet? Maybe just a day or I would even be fine driving up somewhere just to do a HAMON and help someone out and drink some beers.
