Well, August so far has been shaping up into a cruiser rich experience so far. Last weekend we loaded up the 60 and went down to Burlingame campground for the weekend. We set up camp in a fairly secluded site (for Burlingame), no site across from us, and one on each side. The site to our right was set up but no one was home. Later that night after the cookout and getting the kids to crash out, the Mrs. and I were sitting in front of the campfire when our neighbors pulled in. I knew the moment I saw the headlights that it a 60, and I could tell by the rumble that it wasn’t sporting a 2F anymore. It was around 10:30 or 11:00 at that point so I wasn’t going to go bother them. When I got up in the morning I could see it was a white 60 sporting a full roof rack, tinted windows, a home built diamond plate front bumper, and a rear bumper that also had a rack to carry a Vespa style scooter. It didn’t appear that anyone was up yet so we went about our business until all of a sudden our neighbor was walking up and saying “Nice 60!” Turns out they were from New York and were hitting the sites while they were camping out in RI. He had bought the truck and brought it up from Texas. He also said (if I remember correctly) that an LT1 had replaced the 2F. They were heading out to Block Island and we had activities for the kids so we parted and didn’t end up crossing paths again before we left. Sorry, didn’t get any pictures of that one.

Yesterday morning I head over to the Home Depot in North Kingston to get some supplies for a few projects. When I came out I found this 40 parked across from me. I happened to have my camera this time so I shot a few pictures. I ended up running into the guys as I was pulling out, a little cruiser talk and then we were on our way.

I saw a nice red 40 that was heading east on the Pike on Saturday morning at about 11AM, anyone here? Also saw a 60 in Westport/Norwalk, CT on Sunday morning.

Not a real sighting but, we received an LL Bean catalog today that was
clothes for men with the title "Road trip" . The cover is of a nice 40 going down a dirt road,
couple more pics inside too.

A good weekend for me. Heading up the Maine turnpike in Wells and saw Ted (cruiser solutions) coming south in his beautiful blue troopy. Coming home on 89 north on Monday afternoon, I came up on something with an army trailer on it- wait its a red 40- Hey it's Junior!! stopped and shot the s**t for an hour.

Sheri caught the same show and taped it for me. The "jeep" thing was frustrating me also.

that bronze 40 is a bj40 originally made for 'Crusher's wife up in British columbia he has the cruiser shop up there "crusher world" or something like that. it came to RI originally by a guy who was a cabinet maker and wanted the 40 to get him into the woods to tow a log spliter to harvest his own wood. but that was 5 years ago or so so I don't know if it is still the same owner or not. very nice 40 though
Jason aka: Fogblanket

Passed this rig again on Post Road in EG going opposite direction. Gave him the cruiser wave but he didn't see me.

Saw a really nice 62 for sale at a gas station in Newburyport, MA. Really nice with safari rack and a bunch of other goodies. Anyone?

This one had a bigger rack on top and an ARB type bumper on it from what I remember. might be the same one tho. Looked really nice. If that one is in Newburyport ot that area then that's probably it.

That's a local kid Jim's truck. Surprised you didn't see it in the center of Middlefield in the past month. The guy with all the old heeps and the lifted el camino put the lift on for him and also bent up a cage I think. Sat there for a while. His mud name is stoobs67 I think. There's also a post on it in the 40 section.

Saw a FJ62 on Route 1 in Attleboro yesterday. Looked pretty clean.

My buddy told me that Kenny Chesney's new video has a RHD cruiser in it.
