Its summer time, and I know we have tried to do this in the past. So we are going to have our meeting this month at Mark’s In and Out in Livingston. Since they are normally closed on our usual Tuesday meet up schedule, we will make another tweak to our usual and hit this on Wednesday, yep you read that correctly, Wednesday August 13th. Come out to have some classic burgers and milkshakes! Check them out here: HOME | marksbeefburgers - https://www.marksbeefburgers.com/
SOOOOOOOO…. Alternative Route Alert:
We also wanted to throw out a scenic alternative drive for the folks coming from Bozeman (or west). The suggestion is to take Trail Creek Road, at the first exit once you enter the canyon when heading east (exit 316). Head south/southeast. This dirt road eventually turns into Divide Rd as you get to Paradise Valley. Once you hit Highway 89, take a left to head north to Livingston.
Just know this alternative route adds about 50-60 minutes to your travels…but since when do we take the quickest path to somewhere!
So those who are traveling from the west side of the Bridgers can chime in here, and a group can plan a meet up before hitting up Trail Creek Road. I suggest meeting at the Town and Country grocery story, at 200 Highland Blvd, Bozeman, MT 59715. It would be best to plan to leave around 5pm from that spot, as an example, as it takes about 1.5 hrs travel time from T & C to Livingston.
Google does not do a good job mapping this alternative route, but pictured below is a rough layout of a potential circle (head to Livingston by way of Trail Creek, and head back to Bozeman area through I-90). Just ignore the time flags as they don’t’ relate to the actual destinations.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 13th
TIME: 7 PM
WHERE: 801 W Park St, Livingston, MT 59047 (Mark’s In & Out)
WHO: Everyone!
See you there!
