so how was the run?

Cindy and I swung thru the parking lot off Cisco on Sunday morning and while it was somewhat full, we did not see any PMC type rigs we recognized.

Did you all sneak in some Rubicon too?
 
Good run, I haven't been on the trail for about 2 years and damm it's gotten rough. Friday the weather was great until the wind kicked up. Saturday was cool with some snow flakes on winch hill #4 nothing serious.
I think Spencer was taking pictures/movies along the way maybe he can post up some. I still like running the Cruiser but the long wheel base mini trucks seemed to run the trail much better.
Damage: Windshield frame, rear 1/4 panel, tail pipe, tire (bummer is, the 37" TSL will not be available until next summer because the tire plant is moving it's location and no one has it in stock)

Tell you what, with that water running at 250 there was still some deep holes. Good thing i left the doors on.

Get Spencer to post up some pictures, I like to see if he got my Cruiser rearing up on it's rear wheels in anticipation of doing winch hill #1 she gets excited.

I'd really love to see some photos of the madness as well! I love the whole Fordyce/Excelsior/Meadow Lake area, lots of great backpacking!
 
I actually do not really want to see pictures. I am so bummed that I have not been able to run this trail, that pictures would only make me sad and more bummed. :bang:

My poor cruiser has not even been off pavement at all this year, well except for Jame's front yard, and that is really really sad. :confused:
 
now Michael... your cruiser was on the back of a tow truck... that is kinda off the pavement, right?

and you did wheel your two wheel drive Tacoma on the Rubicon... that is more than many can say.

and you can partake in the 45 run this weekend, or join us for the Round up next weekend.
 
OK, yes the back of the tow truck is off pavement, but not the way I want it to be off pavement. :bang:

No, can not make 45 run this weekend, wife has set up a garage sale, yee haw, lucky me. :confused:

Can not make MCR, due to father in-law due in that weekend, again lucky me. :mad:

So it looks as though I am going to go do the Rubicon Work Day, 25th Sep, and since it will be in at ellis creek, and the pick-up wont make it that far, I do plan to take the cruiser. At least she will get a couple hours off-road. ;):D

Come on now who else is gonna go, you use the trail, might as well help keep it open. :hhmm:
