Muddy as in stuck? How were the meteors?
We got stuck but luckily were able to easily get out on our own and turn around. The shower was good; not as much as years past but still good. I've always read that you can see more in the early morning hours but have never stayed out that long

@Shanduhh and I were out there last night and got back around 2AM. Originally we planned to setup at the top of Diablo Dropoff but there was quite a bit of mud in Arroyo Seco Del Diablo. We ended up In Vallecito Wash close to the end of Canyon Sin Nombre. There was still some light pollution from El Cerntro, but not bad. Sky was full of stars and Milky Way visible. We saw probably 25 meteors or so in the 3 hours we were watching, including 4-5 really nice bright ones. I didn't try to get pictures as I don't have a good camera.

We did get a picture of this guy near where we were sitting, biggest scorpion I had seen in person, probably 4-5". That's a quarter for reference.

We had a good time, thanks for setting it up!

I'm planning to camp out there tonight!

I will probably bring the Rav4 if its muddy since i would be avoiding that mess either way!
