I did a search, but came up short.
I was on the Crapshoot trail north of New River, AZ yesterday when I got myself into a slightly messy situation. I was heading down a loose rock hill into a shelf drop off. The line I was taking wasn't going to work. I had to reverse back up the hill about 12feet to get a new line. This backing up didn't come easy. Lots of wheel spin; some controlled, some a bit less controlled with some resulting lateral sliding.
I was waiting/hoping for ATRAC to kick in as I have gotten pretty good at leveraging it to get me through and out of some tough spots.
ATRAC never kicked in while in reverse, even though I was in the RPM sweet spot of 1800-2300 RPMs
Any thoughts?
BTW: Fun trail. Not overly technical
