Due to competing priorities, I am unable to attend ATR at Windrock this year. Bad for me but possiblly good for you. I just canceled my reservation for Cabin 805B (its half of one of the big cabins). Call soon if you need a place to stay 865-435-1251.

Who puts on this event? I've never heard of it before.

Dont know that there is a club or organization behind it. I think it started as an FJ event that grew into what it is now in only a couple of years.

There raffle is yuugggeee, black rifles, tents, gear. They bring in heavy hitters for the event, but the folks who I've seen it historically aimed at were FJ, 4R, etc. The shiny rigs with lots of $$ in lights and wheels and chrome fire extinguishers.

Is it even a TLCA event, I didnt think it was, but may be wrong.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that has been my take.

Edit: I just went to the ATR website and it does not appear to be a club or organization affiliated event. I couldn't even find a place where it indicated that the proceeds go to any charity or club. There is a club page, but it is "attending clubs" not affiliated clubs. Don't get me wrong, it appears to be a helluva event with hundreds of attendees and big money raffle prizes, but has the feel of a corporate type event, not a club event. There isn't even a "who are we" or a "what is ATR" section. Just general information about the park and sponsors, but nothing I could find about who actually hosts the event.

If someone with more intimate knowledge wants to fill in the blanks, I'd be interested to hear "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey used to say.

Greg Muzila started it a few years back (6 maybe). It’s not a corporate thing. It’s just grown into what it is.

GZila Designs Greg? So it basically just started as a general get together for Toyota folks and has now become a crazy big event?

Yep, just confirmed with Greg. His comment was, “I made a comment in a FB group one day and bam, it happened!
