Assistance requested - front fender removal LJ70

We've reached the point in disassembly to address windshield/firewall/cowl rust where the front fenders really need to come off. Can someone please outline the procedure for this? The shop thinks they are welded on. I'm surprised that would be the case since the car is a Landcruiser but what do I know. Any pics or advice would be really appreciated. There are pictures of the rusted areas in my overall repair thread. I have the one piece LJ fenders.

they unbolt and come apart in 3 pieces, inner fender, outer bottom and outer top

Yep that's an FJ with two-piece fenders

Thanks for the picture. Your firewall looks a bit better than mine . My fenders are one piece with an inner fender liner as well. Any experience with these?

the LJ front clip all unbolts the same as an FJ/BJ etc you can view it all on www.toyodiy.com
