I am rebuilding my rear brakes on my 89 BJ74. The shoes needed replacing and the bell cranks were seized.
I bought shoes and spring kit from NAPA using the fj62. But they are slightly different.
1. Pin is longer on the shoes where the lever attaches
2. pin that keeps the shoes against the backing plate is too short
Toyodiy.com shoes two part number for the 70 series
04495-60011 (newer)
04495-60070 (older)
I then found this part number that superceded these
04495-60070
Which shows for late 2000 land cruisers.
Any idea which is the correct one?
