hi guys,
i am a new member on mud. I really like all of the support/ advice i have been given thus far, and since someone recommended posting here, i thought i would give it a try.

I am looking at possibly purchasing my first land cruiser. i have been looking for a while now and have found what appears to be a pretty clean one in conway arkansas.

is there anyone on the forum that lives in this area and could maybe take a look at it for me? i would go myself, but i live in charleston, sc and it would be an awful long trip to go see something and find out its not worth a crap. Additionally, i am not that savy to the ins and outs of the cruiser world anyway (not yet hopefully)

I would be willing to buy you a case of beer, or tank of gas or something for your time.

If anybody wants to lend me a hand, shoot me an email and ill give you the details.
thanks in advance

yep. thats the one. please tell me you have not looked at it already and its a piece of junk. i was really getting my hopes up.

Do you ready want to over pay for that truck?

I would not buy a truck with an engine conversion without seeing it in person.

My .02.

It would have to be a 6.0 with a NV4500 and doubler for that money.

You can get a nice locked 80 cheaper.

i realize it is overpriced. i am going to try and talk him down. if he wont come down, then ill pass. its just nice because he wants to partial trade with my honda civic.

as far as the conversion goes. i agree i would like to see it in person, but as i mentioned i am in charleston sc. additionally, he sent me detailed pics of the install and it looks pretty good except for one area that could be fixed rather easily. he apparently got everything from cruiserparts.net (motor, harness). so except for 4 wires that were soldered into existing harness its pretty much a bolt in swap from what i understand.

and we havent got to the point of discussing money yet. i have just been asking a lot of questions about the vehicle to try and make sure as possible its not a turd.

anybody around to take a quick look for me?

Sent you an e-mail.

There are 2 shops in Little Rock that work mostly on cruisers, see which shop did the conversion.Call and talk to the shop that did the conversion. MIke
