yea, yea, I did some searching... :)

so, on the Deluxe winch bar, there are 3 openings in the bumper.

The middle one is for the "normal" position of a "normal" winch fairlead, evidently.

The upper one for accommodating more winches, perhaps (which?), and better cooling for sure. I would think that putting the fairlead so much higher than the frame sleeves is not a good idea. And the reinforcement for the fairlead bolts would be the wrong way. I'll settle for cooling.

But what about the lower skinny slit, the one that seems to get banged up all the time? what's that for? Is that just for better cooling while maintaining some additional strength (seems minor) over fully open? Or is there some clever Ozzie gadget that goes there? :D

Did you get a bracket with your ARB? That goes on the top slot and used as license plate holder. I think the bottom slit is for asthetics and some air flow. They could've simply closed that up but may look funny.

well, there is the tube cooler down there so maybe they wanted to ensure max air flow for that. A bit funky though.
I don't want to close the top opening with a license plate, that would prevent good air flow to the rad etc.

That skinny slit is where the trans cooler sits with the turbo kits, its ARB's way of reminding you that you need the turbo!!! :D :flipoff2: :D
