Just getting a feeler out there for who all would be interested in a snorkel Group Buy.

I'm interested but worried that the Snorkel will screw up my mpg. by creating more wind turbulance. Any comments?

I know that Toy350 is running one on his 80 and he says it improved his fuel economy, but that is second hand I'll see if he's interested in comenting.

I have yet to hear anything negative about the snorkel other than the hole you have to cut in the fender.

365 shipped if we can get 10 people.

I am interested but we can buy them 1 at a time all day for 365.00 delivered from one of the forum advertisers here and a couple on the Blue Room.

It seems that if we buy 10 we should get a really good deal!

Hurting your mileage, no. Helping, theoretically yes. The benefit gained is pulling in cooler (thus denser) air into the intake for combustion. I received a 30* - 40* air temperature drop in the summer as measured by my Scanguage on the intake air temperature. I haven't seen an actual increase that was measurable by my account although one would hope to.

Biggest drawback on the snorkel... :princess: loved driving the Cruiser until I put that "THING" on there and now she says it looks stupid. Wait until I stick one on her Sequoia

Just do it!
I have had mine on since last November.
It does not hurt the fuel mileage at all.
