I am going to be taking my Kaymar rear bumper and dual swingouts off my 2018 200. Backing off the build a little.

I don't really want to go back to the plastic bumper cover, but to just a basic steel bumper.
I'm checking out the ARB 5615020 - no swings.
I can't find many pics anywhere. Search here is not revealing much.
Does anyone have good pics, link, other simple solutions., input
on the ARB with no swings???

Thanks -

I bet you can take the swing offs and store them somewhere. And just use a grommet plug. Or a cover for the shaft depending on how it’s designed.

Are you happy? Stout?
I have since switched to the SLEE with swing outs, but I had no complaints with the ARB. Plenty stout with good fit and finish. Not sure how the Kaymar fit, but make sure you have enough plastic on the rear quarter panels to cut properly for the ARB. Also, SLEE has a new rear bumper without swing outs. It's also aluminum to cut down on weight. SLEE- Aluminum Rear Bumper - Non-Swingout - 08+ Land Cruiser / LX 570 - Slee Off Road - https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok2004-b/

There is a specific part number - no swings
guess what I was trying to say is you can keep your kaymar and just remove the swing outs.

I've contemplated buying a bumper with dual swingout and looked into removing the swing outs when using as a daily driver and then putting them on for trips.

It's doable but a PIA and need to protect the components from getting damaged if exposed.

Since it sounds like you will be removing for medium to long term it may be worth it to just uninstall the swing outs and keep the Kaymar.
Can't say for sure but there may be different bumper cuts and drill holes and rivnuts that differ between the brands.
Or just order a kaymar with no swingouts and you'll have a more straight forward swap

I'd keep your Kaymar and remove the swing outs like others have suggested. And if you do decide to swap it out I'd go with the Slee rear over the ARB.

Thanks for the input from everyone. I do like that Slee. I have their sliders and battery trays and have been very happy. For now I guess I’ll just go with no swingouts. My plastics are crushed in a few spots and need replacing anyway. I’ll just try to shoehorn the reflectors back in to fill the holes from the swing outs.

Slee looks like a winner for the long term solution.

Does anyone know if the ARB with no swings will work with an 2011 LX?

Not sure about ARB, but the new SLEE (without swing outs) does. At least according to their website.
Yeah, but......Slee = $2750'ish for LX and ARB = $1150'ish with the only discernable functional difference that I can determine is the Aluminum vs Steel. With that said, the Slee Aluminum is listed at 200# whereas the ARB Steel is listed at 150#.

It will fit fine. Structurally LC and LX are the same back there. I have an ARB swingout bumper which technically is meant for the LC on an 08 LX and it went on with no issues.

Here’s mine just installed a few weeks back.
Waited about 10 months to get here from Australia.
One swing out, hopefully get an idea of what it is going to be like from the other side.
They have a molded insert right above the steel bumper with a reflector that covers where the hinges would be. Those make it have a nice finished appearance.
At the hitch that cover attachment is with hex bolts
And has an option to re locate the camera there with an included second cover

AFAIK Only minor difference to watch out for is some bumpers designs can't properly accommodate the AHC pump in the back.

Good that ARB's bumper went on without issue.

Does anyone know if this bumper is compatible with a 2016+ LC? I know on the ARB site it says 2008-2015, but I didn't know if the rear end is that much different between the years.

Is there any hi lift points? I am looking to buy ARB rear bumper for my 2012 LC200 with two swings but there is no info/photo about hi lift points. My car has camera and sensors
