Does anyone know the difference between the RD64 and RD152? It is for the rear of the 100/200. The 64 was superseded by the 152 but for the life of me I can't find what changed. I have the RD64 and want to make sure it's worth installing.

Also, any issues with re-using factory gears? Potential for whine?

Any issues with the ARB or should I try to find a factory e-locked third and axle? I don't really want to regear at this point.

This is for my 2003. TIA.

I had the RD64 on my 2000 and used factory gears, and it was very quiet, just like stock. There is an issue that crops up with some ARB lockers and that is gear oil blow back. Gear oil comes up air line and leaks at the solenoid valve. After many thousand miles it cropped up on mine and new ARB O-rings and other adjustment could not solve the issue, so now I have TJM air locker in rear. It does not happen with most units and ARB has some catch basin device for it, to fix issue. So roll the dice and install the ARB, most likely it will work fine.

Check for posts here about using e-locker on 2000 and later models to see if it works. The braking system is different 2000 & on so at minimum might be plumbing issues. Also you have the 5 speed and diff gear ratio will be different.
