Had the little air tank off my ARB locker compressor last weekend. Its got a lot of oil in it which means there's probably not much left in the compressor itself.

Does anyone have any info re servicing the compressor? How it comes apart, what should be done and what to watch for?
Where do I put new oil in?

Thanks

Same boat, ... same questions. Anyone out there got any info?

I've since gained quite a bit of internet info on this.

1/ These compressors do not have any oil in them. They use a teflon coated disc running in a hard anodised bore so no oil. The bearings are sealed ball races.

2/ The oil is blow back from the diff, usually due to a fault in the locker

Well I just had my front locker serviced due to ARB having installed it incorrectly and repeatedly blowing out O rings so that fits in with the info. Also had a blocked breather which may have contributed to it.

So, this weekend I'll be cleaning the oil from the tank and be happy that there's nothing wrong.
