Folks, I am looking these flush munted LED lights:

and they seem to fit perfectlly on the angled side of the ARB Bumpers. Looks to me like a great place and angle to have more light going off the side of the vehicle

Thoughts ? have anybody seen it done ? pictures ? potentential issues that I am not thinking of ?

Thanks !

I think it would be pretty awesome to mount those and have them relay activated with their respective turn indicators.

That would be a bright turn signal. I think it is a great idea as a cornering light - like the ones the old 70s Lincolns/Cadillacs used to have. But if you hook it into the turn signal, it would flash. I wonder how it can be activated to turn on when the turn signal goes on and off when it is finished.
Otherwise, manual switch activated.
But go for it. Great idea.

These are too bright for turning signals, and my original thought is to use them as corner light when off road (manually switched)

Thanks for the comments !!

Didn't know the correct term but I think we are talking about the same thing. Seems like you could make it solid on and not flash in if you tap the signal before it goes into the turn signal relay flasher and not after.

For the wiring I already have the Slee Aux harnes in place, which I just upgraded my two spots light to one LED bar. With that new set up I have one connector available which I plan to use for these corner lights.

The lights will only come on with the LED bar, which I am OK with as I just plan to use it off road.

@jtwopark can you share soe pictures please ??? :) My only hesitation at this point is cutting a big hole on my ARB

I think those would look nice there. I moved the stk ARB light to that location. Was a lot if work but I think worth it in the end.

@toyofan i'll get some close ups in a few days if you can wait for them

Here are the pics as promised! Sorry it took so long. Enjoy the pics and I hope it helps you in finding the right lights for your application

wow ! Nice, Thank you for the pictures !!!! @jtwopark

fyi make sure the lights are **68 rated because if it is not, you will get condensation in the lights. The gortex material used as a vent on the Rigid lights are okay but i have had better luck with the Baja Designs lights! not to mention being that much brighter and true daylight color produced by the BD lights!

those lights would get eaten up for lunch on the trails around here mounted on the side

in LA, rodeo drive only has asian, and blonde boulders. They don't do too much damage.
