I was putting on my new ARB bar last night and needed to ask someone a question about mounting it. The 2 long bolts (14mm) that go in the top and through the frame and bolt on the bottom. They are to big for the hole??? Is it just my rig or what? Should I drill them out. Any help would be great.

Tim:

I just put one on my FJ80 2 days ago.

There are 12 bolts total that secure it to the frame horns. On each side: 2 from the top, 2 on the outside face diagonally and 2 on the bottom that go through the factory tow points and a shim provided with the bumper.

If I recall, the top and bottom ones were the same diameter with the bottom ones being longer and the sides were smaller diameter. They all thread into captive nuts that are in the existing frame horns.

Any help?

Dude..i think you are using the wrong bolts. No drilling is required. Are you using the long bolts intended to hold on the WINCH>??
