Glad everyone was able to make it out, not a bad sunday afternoon cruise.

Thought the more time people have time to plan the better attendance we may have, so lets start planning next months date.

Looking at a calendar it may seem that the weekend of the 28th-29th will work best, and give for plenty of planning. If so let's move forward with a location.

Let me know what you all think.

Fine with me, and just about anywhere in the Triangle is fine!

It was great to meet you Greg, and Casey, Juan, and Maria; and to see Raymond and Matt again.

Yeah, sorry for bailing on you guys. Best laid plans... I'm down with a meeting next month, I need some time to get my turn signals working!

GarnerFJ40 - You were the most anticipated 40 in the bunch. Your cruiser has rock star status due to its rare color.

What about meeting at Fred Anderson Toyota in North Raleigh? We could grab some pizza and hang out for a bit? Might be nice to build a relationship.

I don't think they are interested in hosting clubs. The local Scion club was trying to accomplish having a meeting there and had no success.

Also this would cut into our beer time.

I will go anywhere. Cruising was a good time also, even if I have the slow one (might have to change that) coming for ya Greg
peace:beer:

Well, I knida' liked the idea of the "Help a Member of the Month" type meeting at someone's house. I'd be more than willing :) to host the first one for a knuckle rebuild and some bbq and cold brews.

Who's Down???

Yeah that's a great idea. I'm def willing to come over and help or whatever, I can't offer a whole lot of brains but do have a li'l brawn. Plus some time soon I'll need help. ;)

Ok, nix the Toy dealer thought.

Well it looks better in the picture now that it is in my yard. I've only driven it around town once, and it got some stares. John Deere green :crybaby: does that I guess.

I'm definitely going to have to pick some brains about getting rid of the rust growing underneath...

I'm up for anything...

as many have said, you tell us a time and place and I am sure a majority of us are more than willing to lend a hand...most weekends I feel work best for everyone.

I'm open the weekends of 4/3, which I know is right around the corner, and the 25th.

Hey guys, I'm ordering the knuckle kit from Cruiser Outfitters .... Do you all usually replace the wheel bearings while you're in there. I'm thinking I might as well.

Anyone weigh in on Timken vs. Koyo???

Thanks,
Ramon

Either one would be a good choice. Ironically Timken developed alloys for tapered roller bearings and licensed the alloys to Koyo for their bearings.

I'd go Timken simply because AutoZone usually has them in stock or available quickly.

Joe, son of a Timken retiree :)
