Looking for an excuse to get out and play. Going to try to get into Kenyon Lake or Cypress Point.
Meeting at the Sylvester Rd Husky @ 10am. Let me know if you are planning to come so I can pick-up enough smokies and buns for everyone.

Well it was a bit lonely out there but still had a great day. Snow is still blocking access to Kenyon not to far passed where the deactivated the road @14km. Made my way into Grotto falls and then pushed on to Cypress point. Lost-Terepocki FSR is in pretty good shaped, got some new pinstrips and claimed my passenger side mirror. A few places needing 4low. Opted out of driving down the last few hundred feet to get onto the flats, risk reward ratio was a little high for a solo trip. Did up some smokies and hot chocolate over a fire for lunch. The weather cooperated for the most part and didn’t start raining until I was packing up and stopped by the time I was airing up. Tentatively looking at May 7th for the next one.

looks great Drew... I really have to dig my rig out from under the pile in the garage one of these days...

Hey Drew, good for getting out and thanks for the update!

@Enigma there is a road down. It used to be not to bad but eroded heavily and it was pretty hardcore. It is once again a bit easier now but most guys end up winching to get out.
I made it to Kenyon on Sunday. Not to much snow now, just at the very top, but the spot that has the log bridge is washed out. It has been rerouted down through the right. Tight and rough and off camber but rocky so decent traction. I got hung up coming back out and had to use all of my horse powers to get out. Might be able to go over the top once the snows gone, hard to tell at the moment. As well the spot right as you crest the hill at the lake was quite a ride. No snow below but snow above. Seems like it has eroded away a bit and the rock step is a bit bigger than before. only route you can go currently is the straight route on the left. The route up the rock face was still burried in snow.
