April 28th Wrench Day

met some of you at the last meeting. if there is enough interst I will host a wrench day at my house. plenty of room, floor jack, stands, parts washer, no air tools. All I ask is no fluid changes ( just moved in don't want to upset anyone yet)

I need help to put on the new rear caliper on my 80 but I think that involves fluid change.

We can bleed that one caliper after swapping it. Or flush the whole system. Its easy, Julie and I did mine in less than 30mins in the driveway.

Still no suspension parts huh?

I may show up. Does anyone have any experience in lockers? Stan has developed a clunking in the rear end and not sure where it's coming from. I cant find any play in the drive shaft, my guess is the lash is not set correctly but, not sure..

Where in the Hill Country are you? that will decide on who and how many show up....

I definitely want to be there for the wrenching day and/or cookout, but lots of activities starting up on the weekends involving my kids. I will list myself as tentative for both.

If I can come, I have a list of things needed to be done to the 80, but will probably assemble and instal a rear tire swing out I bought from MAF for my 40.
