Hey Everyone!

Lots of stuff going on this weekend; be sure to sign up if you need your rig worked on. The day will start at 0800 with Charleston Cars and Coffee. I plan to be there in the 40 with it all shiny and nice.

From there we move over to El Garaje de Benke for some wrenching. We need signups here - whatcha got? Brakes? Axle rebuild? Lift? Bring it on! If nothing, than we wrench on the Chick'n. If there's wrenchin' to be done, of course. I have a few small things to wire in; of course, I'll have to run by and pick up some wire from Napa... but I digress... It's a single  job that I might do this week anyhow.

Finally, we move over to Randy's in Summerville for his famous BBQ. This stuff is REALLY good; even the ever-so-critical-Michael Bessinger gives it a thumbs up. I'll be replacing brake pads and tightening up wheel bearings, nothing time consuming.

Again, for the HAMOM! Whatcha got? This is our preparation time for GSMTR.

I need to check the cooler straps on the Yeti.... might need to replace one of them. Other than that, I need to re-tire the F350. Not sure that I'll make CCC or the HAMOM, I've got a few small projects still ongoing at the lot; July 4th move in date is approaching....

I drove by Daves. Around 10. Nobody was there I was wanting to repack my bearings over haul my transfer case and recoil my flux capacitor.

We were probably on the way back from C&C.
We spent a while there talking to flyx4 and Terry McIntosh.
Good to know, Terry says he will still work on our old stuff.

Man, you must have just missed us! We left CCC right at 10AM, I wanna say? The chicken is looking GOOD!

Terry will work on the old stuff I used him for a couple of years before Glenn. He did quote me a high price for a clutch job though here recently. Luckily I was able to fix the problem without a replacing it.

The problem with Terry, is he will not return your calls. I even showed up in person and STILL was ignored.
This was a big reason why I bought an early Bronco. Anyone can work on them and Toyota mechanics around here suck balls.

Second the fact people around charleston won't work on Cruisers. I went to talk with Glenn and his staff about installing the lift on my 200 and was told they don't do cruiser by the guy up front and that they had stopped working on the older ones. Very surprising to me. That said I will continue to do my own work and help others when I can.

That's disappointing. But sounds like an opportunity for someone!

Long time no see guys. I'm sorry to hear that Glenn nor Terry are meeting your needs. You guys are more than welcome to bring your cruisers to hendrick Toyota on rivers where I work. I've been there almost 5 years now and we see cruisers come in time to time that we have no issue working on. If it makes any difference, I am ASE certified, Toyota certified and I have my associates degree from Trident. We may still be able to get some parts for ya too. Even though I don't own a cruiser anymore, I still lurk around here and like working on them.

Whats up Tristan!!!! No way in hell I would even let you sit in the passenger seat, let alone work on my car. Bwahahahha. In all seriosuness, thanks for reaching out. Its good to know that someone loves us.
