Looks like they took a base 4x2 and added a bunch of aftermarket crap. The sunroof and wheels are definitely aftermarket. Note the steel spare rim. Not sure who made the seats. There are no new packages listed on Toyota's website.

My guess is they couldn't unload a 4x2 so they tricked it out and jacked up the price.

I got a print out from my dealer showing all the accessories available and prices for each, leather seats are a $2200.00 option here in Canada not sure if they are the same as the ones in the picture but seems like a useless option in a vehicle with rubberized flooring. Personally i like the fact that the seats in our FJ's are water resistant.

I wasn't crazy about parts of the interior being the same color as the exterior (I have black so it's not an issue), but those seats seem a little cartoonish and hurt my eyes. I would mind seeing all black leather seats. To each his/her own I suppose.

love the idea of a sunroof, but 4x2????? I see on the sticker 19/22 for MPG, is anyone getting near that?

I was told that leather wasn't an option here in Canada. It must be a dealer installed thing. I don't think Toyota offers it.

The BBS Wheels are an option. I have them on my FJ, along with the same tires. The sad part is they only give you 4 wheels not 5.

Gotta love Southeast Toyota distributors :flipoff2:

x100000000. More ways to make money I suppose. Is Toyota HQ aware of this dealer-added bling? Where will the silly dealer accessorizing stop? At some point I can see Mr. T from Japan saying "we never authorized this!".

The problem is that Toyota has little to no control over these distributors. Most of the US distributors are owned by Toyota the two exceptions to that are Gulf States Toyota Distributors and Southeast Toyota Distributors, both of which are independently owned.

Because they are not operated by Toyota they are pretty much free to do what they want and all you can do to avoid it is go to another state or section of the country to avoid them.
