I was up Middle Mtn today, it's still closed.
I think it said 'til May 31, which seems late.

I was thinking about going to Moab for a couple days but got wrapped up in re-engineering the wiper linkage.

Middle mountain opens 6/1/15 according to forest service. I was also up there last weekend to the gate. Muddy mess.

I heard a report that Ophir was plowed already but that was before the recent storm cycle that I would assume put a good amount of snow back on the mountain.

Oh, ok. I knew it was there but didn't know what it was called.
Is it worth going down?
Any camping?

There is no desirable camping. The wheeling is kind of like Moab slickrock and very concentrated with obstacles. It's a good playground but not really scenic if your looking for that.

I'm kinda past the overcoming obstacle thing. Been there, done that and paid the bills for all the busted components. These days I usually prefer to go to destinations--ghost towns, old mining stuff, fishing, etc.--rather than just go beat the thing to see if it will win.

Just kinda antsy 'cause I've finally got the Goose trail worthy and running very well.
