Anyone want to help move a upright piano in SA? (1 Viewer)

I really hate to aks for a hand but I don't think I can move a piano alone. Well I found an upright piano on craigslist in the next neighborhood over, so close I could almost just push the thing down the road. ;p So any two of you guys possibly have free time Saturday to lend a hand. I'm thinking about doing it around 10am and then lunch is on me! I'm up in Schertz on the NE side and if there are some volunteers I'll rent a small uhaul trailer.

If I can break away Saturday morning, I'll meet you up there and help move it. I'll know Friday afternoon if I can get away.

Maybe we can just tie a strap around it and pull it down the street.

Any other takers for a short move and free lunch?? One more would make a huge difference. I plan to call the guy selling it tomorrow evening to let him know if it's a go and maybe I can coax him into helping. Lunch is on me and I'll buy a round at the next meeting.

Forget it, I'm tired of moving stuff. I think I should focus on getting things settled in place here vs buying stuff. If the guy sells the piano great, I'll find another. Plus I wouldn't want to pass on a change to wheel in the rain. See you tomorrow morning Brett!

Hey, sorry for not calling you last night. If you want to move the Piano later in the day that would probably work.

I need to drop my wife off for an appointment at the medical center at 10:00am and these appointments usually last at least two hours. She'll be slightly radioactive for two hours hence doing a short wheeling trip near the medical center since I can't hang out with her (sounds worse than it is).

Maybe we'll get a break in the rain sometime this afternoon. Let me know what will work for you.
