I've had great luck with the Lucas Power Steering Additive in other vehicles. It stops leaks, even bad ones, and stops squeals, even bad ones.
The rack on my wife's LX is leaking very slightly; like I occasionally see a drip but don't have to add more than a quarter inch of fluid to the reservoir every year. Also, it is getting a bit loose with age. I've thought about adding the Lucas product to stop the leak. Also, the bottle claims it helps with loose steering racks. Any thoughts.
Before we get the additive flaming going, the stuff does work in my other vehicles and yes I know our systems use Dextron, not PS fluid.
